Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the ’24-’25 snowmobile season! Even though it still seems like summer, we kicked off the season with our first meeting at Mike’s Pub on September 18th. What a awesome turnout. It was great to see everyone and welcome some new faces also. Minutes to the meeting will soon be available if you unable to attend.
We do hope that you can attend this months meeting as it is our Voter’s Meeting and Pizza Party! We will be accepting nominations and voting on the board positions of Secretary, Chair and Treasurer. Members, this is your club, so let your voice be heard. And, pizza and wings, well thats on us that as we celebrate the club and the members which make it possible to enjoy the trails during the winter months. So mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 16, 2024, and head over to Jim’s Sports Bar in Chisholm, MN. The meeting itself starts at 6:00pm, but be sure to get there early for your fill of Jim’s delicious pizza and wings. You will be responsible for your beverage, however.
Be on the lookout for some upcoming trail work days. Emails, Facebook and our website will have dates and times.
Here are some other opportunities to get out with the PathBlazers and other snowmobile events this season:
Oct. 5 – PathBlazers Land Owners Appreciation Day & Open House 12-4pm. PathBlazers maint. bldg, Chisholm
Oct. 16 – Monthly Meeting, Voters Meeting & Pizza Party (dinner is on us). Jim’s Sports Bar in Chisholm. Voting for positions of Secretary, Chair, Treasurer. Nominations & Voting that night. Come a little early for food. Meeting starts at 6:00pm
Oct. 25-27 – MnUSA Fall Workshop @ Black Bear Casino in Carlton, MN. For registration and info go to www.mnsnowmobiler.org.
Nov. 20 – Monthly Meeting @ Sammy’s Pizza in Hibbing. Starts at 6pm
Dec. 18 – Monthly Meeting & Christmas Gift Exchange (opt.) @ Valentini’s in Chisholm. We would like RSVP’s to get an idea of how many will be in attendance as we will be having a buffet as we did last year. More info to come
Dec.-Jan. – Snowmobile Safety Training Field Testing, Times & dates to be announced based on conditions. This is field testing only and the written test must have been completed and paperwork in hand. Watch for announcements via Facebook, email and our website
Jan. 15, 2025 – Monthly Meeting, Riverside Inn in Side Lake, MN (TBD)
Jan.-Feb. – PathBlazers Club Ride (TBD)
Feb. 5-8, 2025 – Blackwood’s Never Surrender Tour to fight ALS. This tour will be stopping at the PathBlazers maint. bldg in Chisholm on Feb. 6th for lunch. More info to come
Feb. 19 – Monthly Meeting, Hwy 5 Bar & Grill (TBD
Mar. 20 – Monthly Meeting, Bimbo’s Octagon in Side Lake, MN (TBD, this will be on a Thursday night)
April 16 – Monthly Meeting, (TBD)
