March 2026 Club Update

Hi Folks,

Sad but true mother nature has crushed our season once again. But it was good while it lasted and trail coordinator Joe McKenney and a group of dedicated members gave us some of the best trails to ride, working with little or nothing. But, with three weeks to go before the official end of the season, anything is possible.

Despite the conditions, trails across the northland weren’t bad. Such events as the PathBlazers Club Ride to the North Shore, D.A.V Vintage Iron on the Range Ride, The Blackwoods Never Surrender Blizzard Tour to fight ALS, our snowmobile safety field training, and evening rides to our favorite watering hole for our monthly meetings went on and were enjoyed by all. If you weren’t able to get to one of these events this year, put it on your list for next season, unless you are not into having a little fun.

If you did not see the post on Facebook, trail coordinator Joe McKenney was able to do a small re-route on the west side of Hibbing on the way to Kelly Lake. The new route was scheduled for next season, but favorable conditions allowed us to get it done this year. The trail is signed but of course not yet groomed. If we are able to ride it this year please make note of this change and use caution.

Our February monthly meeting was held at The Highway 5 Bar & Grill, and the minutes of the meeting will be emailed to all PathBlazers members. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact one of the board members listed below. Not a member yet or do you need to renew your membership? Visit our website www.pathblazersclub.com or join us at our next meeting and sign up. It’s easy.

Our next meeting will be Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Bimbo’s Octagon in Side Lake, MN. Please take note of the date change due to some scheduling conflicts. Meeting starts at 6:00pm. Ride or drive, this is great way to find out what our club is all about, how we maintain the trails you enjoy, do a little socializing with fellow riders and snowmobile enthusiasts, and get info on future events. Not a member, no problem. Please don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item(s) to be donated to the local food shelves. Hope to see you there.
