New Groomer – Trail Work – Club Overnight Ride Information

Hello Everyone,

First off, don’t forget we have a couple events this weekend that you may want to be involved in. Friday, October 25th, a very exciting day for the PathBlazers club and it’s members! After almost a year, blood sweat and tears by some hard working members, our NEW Piston Bully groomer will arrive! Join us if you’d like as it will be delivered between 2-3pm to our maintenance facility in Chisholm. Our groomer operators are encouraged to attend for some important training on the new machine.

Also, Saturday, October 26th we will be headed out on the trails to take advantage of the nice weather to get some trail work done. Load up the wheeler or side-by-side, throw in the chainsaw/brush cutter and meet us at the maintenance building in Chisholm @ 9:00am. There may be a second day of work on Sunday, October 26th based on what the trails are like and how big the crew is on Saturday. For more info contact PathBlazers Trail Coordinator Joe McKenney @ 218-969-9717. There will be other opportunities to help out on the trail after deer season if you are not able to get out this time around.

In case you missed it, our Voters Meeting & Pizza Party was held during our October Monthly Meeting. It was a great time had by all and congratulations to the following voted in as board members: Secretary, Dave Houghton; Treasurer, Erin Schirmer; and as Chair, Jodi Olson. Thank you to these individuals for accepting the nomination and serving on the board for the next term (2 years). The minutes of the meeting are available if you did not get a chance to join us.

Save the date folks, Friday, January 31 – February 2, 2025 will be the PathBlazers club ride and Crane Lake will be this years destination. Plans are to leave on Friday from Chisholm and journey to Crane Lake. Saturday is planned to be a tour day, and Sunday will be the return trip home. The recommended places to stay are Cabins on Crane (218-993-2401 or https://cabinsoncrane.com/) or The Voyagaire Lodge (https://www.voyagaire.com/the-lodge/guest-rooms/). The is no room blocking available. YOU will be responsible to make your own reservations by calling or going online and we recommend the sooner the better to try and beat the rush once the snow starts. These trips are full of fun and adventure for the whole family. Not a member? No problem! Everyone is welcome to join us. For more info, contact Jamie McKenney @ 218-969-7702 or any one of the board members listed on the bottom of the page.
