September 2026 Club Update
Hello everyone and welcome to the ’26-’27 season! We hope you had a great summer. The first meeting of the season will be this coming Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Mike’s Pub in Hibbing, MN. The meeting will start at 6:00pm, but you might want to come a little earlier to get your food or drink order in and catch-up with friends. Please don’t forget your non-perishable food items to be donated to the local food shelves in the area. Let’s start the season off right.
Good news, PathBlazers apparel will soon be available. We will be working with Range Sports again this year and a link to our online store will be set up in a few days. Based on feedback from you the members, there some changes to our lineup this year. All iron on logo’s will now be screen printed and there will be a new manufacture for our hooded and crew sweatshirts. Stay tuned for more info and the link to the store through email, Facebook or our website.
October brings our annual Pizza & Wings and Voters meeting. This is a prime time to celebrate you the members and the hard work that gets done to make the riding experience on our trails top notch. It is also the time of year that we elect new board members. Up for election this season are secretary, treasurer, and chair. These are currently held by: Dave Houghton, secretary; Tammy Johnson, treasurer; Jodi Olson, chair. We encourage all members to not to pass on a great opportunity to become a board member of a great organization. If you feel so inclined, nominations and voting will be held that night. Be sure to mark the date Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Jim’s Sports Bar in Chisholm, MN. Food should be ready about 5:15pm with the meeting starting at 6:00pm. The meal, well it’s on us!!
Trail coordinator Joe McKenney hopes to start some trail work about mid to late September. The brushing and trail work at the end of last season has really helped us get a start on this season’s trail maintenance. Joe will have more info at our meeting next Wed. Sept. 16th and how you can help.
This is also a great time of year to renew or start a new membership. It’s soooo easy! Just go to our website www.pathblazersclub.com and click on the link to JOIN! You can also renew or join MNUSA at the same time and save $5 when you join through a snowmobile club. Another very important way to support the sport of snowmobiling in Minnesota is to please register your sleds.
